Bryn is my beautiful friend who is getting married this Saturday! (Sadly, I will not be her wedding photographer because of another wedding I am already shooting) I have always loved Bryn because of her thoughtfulness, exuberance, beauty, and kindness. Not the mention, we share the same birthday :)
I loved that I got to photograph Bryn in her gorgeous dress (that she designed) up at This is the Place Heritage Park. Bryn doesn’t even have to try to look natural. She is as lovely on the inside as on the outside.

Kristen is marrying Keith on Friday the 13th! Yes, you heard me right. I, for one, think it’s a fabulous idea!
I am seriously thrilled for these two, as I have many connections to them and have known them for quite a few years now. Kristen is incredibly beautiful, poised & elegant, as well as fun & playful. She needs almost no direction as she moves seamlessly from one pose to another. It is such a pleasure to photographer her!
You can’t tell in these photos, but despite the lovely weather in these pictures, it was quite cold the day of her bridal session. Kristen was freezing and yet she still looks amazing.

Kate is simply stunning! I absolutely love her wedding dress with her green shoes and matching green necklace. This girl has some amazing style and knows how to find good deals, too. (Seriously, I’m going to make her take me shopping one of these days….)
We spent time at the beautiful downtown library and the State Capitol building. The lovely architecture was a perfect accent to Kate’s classic beauty. I can’t wait for her wedding that’s less than 3 weeks away!

Zula and George are getting married in just a couple weeks! Isn’t Zula GORGEOUS? She looks so elegant and classic with her birdcage veil, furry winter wrap, and her porcelain complexion (I could go on and on). Seriously. I mean, George looks pretty handsome himself, but he sure is one lucky guy!

Natalie and Mike are getting hitched in December! As a precursor to the big day, we went out and photographed them together in their wedding attire.
Doesn’t Natalie look amazing in her dress? I seriously couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful her dress is. The ruffles are exquisite and I love how they rest on one another. Plus, she has these gorgeous grey shoes with a ruffle on the back of them. Perfect!
These two were so fun to be with. They were up for anything and survived cold fall weather. Nor did they mind that I made them walk on mud, leaves, and rocks. The best part about their session was that we were able to shoot inside Anthropologie for a few minutes. How exciting!

We shot Marissa’s bridal pictures only a couple days before her August wedding. I was glad to have a little time with her before the big day.
I loved that Marissa wanted her pictures taken at the Utah State Capitol Building: it fit perfectly with her simple yet elegant dress. Speaking of her dress, don’t you love the accent sash & flower around her waist? Her mom did that for her. I was seriously impressed!
Marissa has a knack for being in front of the camera: very natural, relaxed, and extremely beautiful.
We ventured inside for a bit to make use of the marble staircase & balustrade. We mimicked her favorite Maxfield Parrish painting. I love how it turned out. A big thanks to her mom for assisting me with my off-camera flash! We ended down at Memory Grove — the buildings there make Marissa look like a Greek goddess. So lovely.

Last week, Suzanne got all dolled up for her bridal session. I loved photographing her & Seth for their engagement session: they were all giggles & smiles. This day was no different. Suzanne has a talent for radiating on the inside AND out. Doesn’t she look incredible? She was a trooper as mosquitoes swarmed her, resulting in red welts on her arms & neck and yet she still was up for anything I suggested. I am super excited for her wedding that’s only a few short weeks away!

I have been excited about Lyndsi’s bridal pictures since we shot them! Lyndsi is simply radiant and breathtaking in her wedding gown. Her dress is elegant but not over-the-top, accentuated by a big, beautiful red flower in her hair. She not only looks gorgeous, but she’s fun to be with and easy to photograph. We started off at the Grand Ballroom by the Depot and then finished off at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was my first time photographing at the Grand Ballroom and I love the tile and feel of the old train station. I can’t wait for her wedding to ring in the new year!

Candice and Jake are getting married in a couple of weeks (yay). Jake came along for Candice’s bridal session so that we could get awesome shots of the two of them at the temple and with gorgeous fall leaves (because those sadly won’t be nearly as lovely in the middle of November). We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day! Crystal clear blue sky, vibrant leaves at their peak, warm temperatures with cooler weather just on the horizon: everything was impeccable, including the couple.
Candice found the perfect dress — that looks amazing on her — and she bought it used! (I hope it’s okay I said that). I think it’s fantastic that she found a dress she can love and enjoy, but that didn’t break the bank. Plus, she isn’t as concerned about getting it dirty, which is a great plus for me, as her photographer ;) Anyways, Jake complimented her well with his dark brown, pin-striped suit. Very classic. Candice and Jake are a lovely couple with awesome chemistry and I can’t wait for their upcoming wedding!

We took Libby and Joe’s bridals a couple weeks after the wedding for 2 reasons.
1- the dress wasn’t ready before the wedding because it was handmade by her sister (how amazing is that?) and 2- it was raining too hard on the day of the wedding.
Taking the photos after the wedding worked out even better than we could have planned. The weather was the epitome of fall and Rose Sachs Gardens was gorgeous, as it’s nestled in Utah’s beautiful mountains with the leaves at perfection.
Libby and Joe have such amazing chemistry and are so fun to photograph.
