Emily and Brandon: Formal Session

Emily and Brandon became friends and dated a little in high school. Time passed and they went their separate ways. Years later, they reconnected at a mutual friend’s wedding and now they are getting married! I just love their story and can’t wait for their special day in just a couple of weeks!

On the day we photographed their formal session, we knew a big storm was coming so we met a little earlier than we originally planned. About 5 minutes after we started shooting, a HUGE gust of wind ransacked us and it even started sprinkling. Luckily, the big rains waited until we finished and the wind even died down a bit over the course of the session. They were such good sports despite the not-so-optimal weather conditions.

These two are so fun, laid-back, and kind. It has been such a pleasure working with them so far. Plus, they have great taste and style. I can’t wait for the big day! Stay tuned for their wedding pics :)

Kate: bridals

Kate is simply stunning! I absolutely love her wedding dress with her green shoes and matching green necklace. This girl has some amazing style and knows how to find good deals, too. (Seriously, I’m going to make her take me shopping one of these days….)

We spent time at the beautiful downtown library and the State Capitol building. The lovely architecture was a perfect accent to Kate’s classic beauty. I can’t wait for her wedding that’s less than 3 weeks away!
