Before Charity and Greg’s ceremony, we took a few minutes to photograph this gorgeous couple together knowing there wouldn’t be time later in the evening. These two were so fun!
Charity looks STUNNING in her dress with the way it hangs on her body and reveals her back. It looked incredible on her! I also loved how she did her hair with the three mini buns and birdcage veil. Greg looks DAPPER and reminded me and Adam (my second shooter) of Clark Kent. I expected him to rip off his tux to reveal a superman getup underneath. It never happened.
Nonetheless, they are the epitome of a beautiful New York City couple, and even reminiscent of a Hollywood couple. So classy, sexy, and beautiful. They had a blast laughing, being a little goofy, and feeling like they were on top of the world! I loved all the locations we found right outside of the wedding venue. Talk about awesome!

Charity and Greg had such fun dancing moments, I couldn’t pass up making a ‘dancing only’ post.
It started off with the newly married couple dancing together, followed by the bride with her father. Then, Charity surprised everyone (including her new husband) with a song. It was fabulous and got the groom a little teary eyed. Their embrace after her song was so touching and it clearly shows their deep love for one another.
I love all the fun dancing pictures, especially when everyone got decked out in their 20s style attire: top hats, feather boas, and headbands with a single black feather. Seriously such a blast! When it was time for Charity and Greg to leave, they left everyone with a farewell speech and sped away in a limo. A storybook ending!

I loved watching Charity and Greg after their ceremony. They took the time to talk with each guest and actually enjoyed their party!
A 3-course meal was intermixed with mingling and music. The band played jazz and swing music, setting the perfect ambiance for the evenings festivities. The toasts were priceless and I loved focusing on Charity and Greg’s expressions: the smiles, laughs, and tender moments.
After the dancing got under way (I’ll have a full post on all the dancing next) they brought out feather boas, top hats, and 20s style head bands for their guests to wear. Plus, they had a little photo area complete with a polaroid camera and a variety of accessories so each guest could take a photo of themselves. What a joyous evening!

Charity and Greg had a beautiful wedding ceremony! They had an amazing wedding party lineup with their close friends and immediate family. I loved seeing everyone walk down the aisle looking so lovely and happy.
They had a wonderful program with readings and musical numbers, hugging, and of course a few tears of joy. It was so touching and I could tell it fit in perfectly with their personalities.

A big thanks to Adam Findley for being my 2nd shooter! He shot this picture above and below :)

Adam also took this shot above!

Charity and Greg were married last month in a green, renovated warehouse in Brooklyn by the Gowanus Canal. Talk about amazing location! The exposed brick and big windows inside set the perfect ambiance for their details & decorations.
Beautiful flowers adorned the tables & lined the aisle. A variety of lanters in different shapes & sizes marked the pathway for the wedding party to walk down. The tables looked amazing with the gold plates, flowers, lanterns, and picture frames. They even had a swanky concoction of champagne and punch made in New York City. Everything looked exquisite!

Zula and George are getting married in just a couple weeks! Isn’t Zula GORGEOUS? She looks so elegant and classic with her birdcage veil, furry winter wrap, and her porcelain complexion (I could go on and on). Seriously. I mean, George looks pretty handsome himself, but he sure is one lucky guy!

Destiny and Bryson had their wedding reception at the Salt Lake Hardware Building, which is such an amazing venue. The exposed brick and open ceiling were the perfect backdrop for their decorations: the lights streamed around the room, chinese lanterns hanging in archways, branches of trees as center pieces, and luscious fruit from the fall season at every table. Everything went together seamlessly.
Before things got rolling, I spotted Destiny and Bryson on a couch in the foyer. I did not pose them one bit, which makes me love that sequence of photos even more!
What a wonderful evening for which I was glad to be a part of.

Watching, observing, and photographing Destiny and Bryson was such a treat!
First of all, they are both tall (this is one of those moments where I wished I was a few inches taller or at least had a stool with me). And Destiny was a sight to behold. (Bryson is one luck guy!) From her beautiful hair to her gorgeous smile to how amazing she looked in her wedding gown, she knocked Bryson off his socks.
Second of all, they were sweet, kind, and loved laughing with each other. I could see how happy they make each other and I am thrilled that they have found such a perfect match!
A big huge THANK YOU to my friend Chris who referred Destiny and Bryson to me because he also assisted me on their wedding day. Thanks for holding an umbrella over my head and for helping with my off-camera flash. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Destiny and Bryson were married in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on a chilly day complete with rain. Lots and lots of rain. This was the first time I met Destiny and I have to be honest with you, I was expecting a stressed out bride who’d be worried about getting her hair & dress wet and cursing the sky for ruining her wedding day.
Little did I know. Destiny was the exact opposite! She was happy, so grateful for everyone who braved the bad weather, and was glowing like any bride should.

Time to share my annual family session with the Simpson family!
Natalie is one of my dear friends and I love that she trusts me to photograph her family every year. It’s especially fun to look at the progression of her boys and see how grown up and well-behaved they are now during our sessions. They are silly, goofy, and so much fun to talk to!
And this year, we have a new addition: Frankie the dog :)
