Dominique’s vignette sessions have been in the works for a few months and I have been excited ever since our first emails. Dominique is a writer and her first young adult novel will be coming out next year.

I love how she has the same addiction to music that I do. I love how she’s a marathon runner (something I could only dream of doing). And I love how she gets inspired by the beauty around her – “There is nothing like a winter morning when the world is still and snow is softly falling or the smell of honeysuckle on a hot summer night with the crickets chirping in the background.” Isnt’ that just magical?

Anyways, when we finally met on the morning of her shoot, I felt like we had been friends for ages. I enjoyed myself so much I had to remind myself to keep taking pictures instead of talking. Thanks Dominique, for being so awesome!
