Here is Emiko and Bob on a gorgeous Spring day, in front of their beautiful house. These two have such a wonderful relationship together. They could spend hours on end just talking and enjoying each others company. I have to thank Bob and Emiko from the bottom of my heart. You see, Bob is my great uncle (my mom’s mom’s uncle) and I hadn’t even met him until this last December. They opened up their home to me while I got on my feet here in Los Angeles. Their generosity is unprecedented and I hope they can know of my gratitude to them.

These pictures are so sweet. There’s nothing more touching to me than “worn love”, people who have stuck it together through thick and thin and have so much wisdom to share. I love the message these photos send! Hey, thanks for your reply about locations a while ago. I think the “better to ask forgiveness than permission” was just what I was looking for. I had no problem with it, I just didn’t know if that’s what other photographers did, know what I mean? Anyway, I love this shoot!
