Lyndi is one of those people who can make you laugh and smile just by being with her. She is genuine, honest, and sincere. Plus, her laugh is seriously contagious! I was so excited to photograph Lyndi and had been looking forward to our session for months.
Lyndi is an Entrepreneurial Prosperity Coach and she loves it! She’s also passionate about photography, learning, and cooking. She says that good people inspire her, meaning people who do what’s right despite being faced with the worst of circumstances. I believe Lyndi is one of those people
Thanks Lyndi for being so fun!

I shot Alicia’s bridals last Friday morning. It was fun having her sister, Breanne, come along. Plus, an awesome photographer, Sheryll, assisted me. I couldn’t have asked for 3 more awesome women to spend my morning with. It seriously was a fabulous session! Alicia is gorgeous and was up for all my crazy ideas, including posing in front of a random, overgrown house and lying in the grass. The light was perfect and we were blessed that it didn’t rain — it was supposed to, but held off until that evening.
Can’t wait for your wedding, Alicia!

I admit, there are a lot of Alicia in the grass, but I just LOVED how they turned out. Doesn’t she look like Snow White?

I had 2 awesome photo sessions this last Friday – Alicia and Lyndi. Here’s a sneak peek to tide over these lovely ladies (and all of you, of course) until I can get up the rest. Have a fabulous Sunday!

Alright, so some of you may have noticed that I took down the images from the Guerrilla Gardening documentary I shot a few weeks back. Apparently, the city tore down the garden that the community pitched in to create. The kids who were heading the project were, of course, devastated. All the drama drew a lot of interest in the project, hence my images, and the directors asked me to take them down until the project was complete.
I just got word that it will screen on May 8th at USC. If anyone is interested or wants more info, ask me in the comments.
For now, here are the images again. And, I apologize for deleting the post and erasing someone’s thoughtful comment. I really do appreciate it when comments are left.
And watch this awesome SLIDESHOW to see more images from the day.

Here is Emiko and Bob on a gorgeous Spring day, in front of their beautiful house. These two have such a wonderful relationship together. They could spend hours on end just talking and enjoying each others company. I have to thank Bob and Emiko from the bottom of my heart. You see, Bob is my great uncle (my mom’s mom’s uncle) and I hadn’t even met him until this last December. They opened up their home to me while I got on my feet here in Los Angeles. Their generosity is unprecedented and I hope they can know of my gratitude to them.

This little bundle of joy is the newest addition to Sammy & Harry’s family. Charlie is tiny & adorable. He was a wonderful subject to photograph and didn’t fuss at all. Have I mentioned that he has a cute baby bum? (Well, all baby bum’s are cute, for that matter). Congratulations on your beautiful baby!

You might remember some of these cute kids from a shoot I did back in December. This time around, I got to photograph their whole family — cousins, parents & grandparents. Unfortunately, Salt Lake had a storm come through a few days before so it was pretty chilly in the morning when we had their session scheduled last Saturday. Luckily, we were able to use the staircase at the Genetics Building up by the University of Utah Hospital. The staircase was made to resemble DNA — how cool is that? The window light was beautiful & the simple design of the building made for a perfect backdrop.
Thanks guys for being so fun!

Boy was I excited when Alicia asked me to be her wedding photographer! You see, I did her sister Breanne’s wedding a year and a half ago & I took their family pictures a while back so you can see that I just LOVE this family!
I was glad that we were able to schedule a time to do Alicia and Danny’s engagements when I came up to Salt Lake last week. It turned out to be a crazy week, but I enjoyed every second of hanging out with these two. They have such great chemistry & love to laugh. We found lots of amazing locations by just walking around Salt Lake. Be sure to check back for Alicia’s bridals at the end of the month and their wedding pics in June.
