I have been looking forward to Meredith’s bridals for a long time. Once we had decided to take them up at the Utah State Capitol, I couldn’t wait for the day to come :) It was a good thing we planned an indoor shoot…. it turned out to be a very wet, stormy day in Salt Lake and it was perfect that were inside.

Meredith looked amazing in her dress. The bead work was so intricate and detailed, the perfect addition to the gown, especially the ones lining the bottom. She even brought her saucy red shoes with her for some of the shots. I can’t wait for her wedding that is in less than 2 weeks!

I also have to thank my friend Annie who is in town visiting and came to assist me. There’s no way I could have done the shoot without Annie’s help. She was indispensable as she manned the light and carried all our bags. Thanks Annie!

Gorgeous! Those are amazing and I love the lighting. How did you get permission to take a photo shoot in the Capitol building?

Thank you everyone! To shoot at the Capitol, you need to get permission which basically let’s them know when you are coming & to ensure there are no other conflicts at the Capitol that day. There are no fees. The number to call is 801-538-3074.
