Bubbles
Do you remember the first time you blew bubbles as a child?
The frustration of blowing too hard….or too soft.
And the thrill of seeing a perfect stream of shiny orbs glistening around you.
Wasn’t it magical?

As most of you know, last Saturday was the designated day that my friend Natalie and I took photos of children in their Halloween costumes. We had such a great time. I love seeing them all dressed up — it’s like they get ‘in character’ and can be anything they want.

I loved all the rich accents of red throughout the day. It’s such a warm, passionate, festive color. Even the cake was adorned with beautiful red roses and red sparkly icing. Aaliyah had bright red, glittering shoes that she loved to twirl in.
It was my favorite when I was standing behind Meredith and Jeffrey as they greeted their guests. Jeffrey kept his hand right at Meredith’s back with a light touch, but always there. It was so sweet! The reception was a wonderful ending to a wonderful day. And, I have to add that Tuscany Gardens includes a limo ride and one night’s stay up at Wolf Creek Resort. How fun is that!
Meredith and Jeffrey had a ring ceremony before their reception, up at Tuscany Gardens. I have to say that I LOVE little ring bearers and flower girls! The ceremony was beautiful and filled with even more laughter and love, no surprise there
Meredith and Jeffrey got married last Friday on a perfect fall day. The sky was blue, the temperature was comfortable, and they were surrounded by all their loved ones. Meredith and Jeffrey are so much fun to watch while they interact — they way they look at each other, the soft touches, their laughter. Thank you for having me there for your special, special day!
Ok….so I haven’t had the time to update my blog yet from Meredith and Jeffrey’s wedding this last weekend….here is an image to tide you over until I get the rest of them ready
I’m placing this reminder at the top of my blog to make it easier to find information about Three Winks Studio’s 2008 Holiday Cards. To see the samples, CLICK HERE. All orders MUST be placed by Tuesday December 4th!
Despite the freezing wind outside and their desire to keep greeting their close family & friends, I was able to steal away Vicky and Mike for a few moments. The sun broke through the clouds for a few moments as we ventured out of the hangar, making a beautiful backdrop with the mountains in the distance and the planes in the foreground. These two still look amazing even though they were chilled to the bone.
And I have to give a big THANKS to my friend Kelli for referring Mike and Vicky to me. She knows them through her twin sister, but couldn’t shoot their wedding because she was already booked that day.
Thanks Kelli, you rock!
Vicky looked stunning in her cream-colored, strapless gown and long hair with soft curls. As with everything else, it was elegant and graceful yet simple and not overdone. The ceremony was filled with laughter, a few tears, and a lot of love. They even had one of their friends read a nursery about Little Bo Beep and Little Boy Blue getting married — it was darling!
During the toasts, I found out that many of their family and friends flew in from out of town for this special day. Many were from Canada and other states, but one couple came from South Africa! Amazing to see such love & support.
Even though there’s a little motion blur on their first kiss as husband and wife, I still love it!
The first time I met Vicky and Mike was just a couple hours before their ceremony on Saturday. They moved out of Utah about 6 months ago, so it was perfect for them to come back ‘home’ for their wedding. I can’t imagine how hard it would be to plan a wedding from 1,500 miles away! They had wanted a beautiful fall wedding up in Heber, but were forced to change locations 3 days prior because of a winter storm that was going to hit on Saturday.
Luckily, they had an amazing wedding planner who moved everything indoors into an airplane hangar. I must say, it looked spectacular! I loved all the lines, symmetry, colors, and even the small airplane in the corner made everything perfect.
I can’t wait to share the rest of the images with you all
I just have to point out that instead of receiving gifts, they donated money to the American Red Cross.
What a great, generous idea!
