a Hawaiian Luau

Photobucket

I know it’s been forever since I’ve posted….life has been crazy lately….so I apologize for making you WAIT to see these….

This was our Luau on Saturday night (the 12th, my birthday). It was amazing! The food was incredible — my favorites were the mahi mahi, purple sweet potatoes, and coconut pudding. But, the show was definitely the highlight of the evening. I was mesmerized by the dances, their costumes, and the stories behind them. I loved the beautiful designs of their tattoos that decorated their arms, legs, and backs. And most importantly, I was jealous of those girls — they sure know how to move their hips!

I concur with Mike [above]!!! :) I’ve always had a thing for all-things Italian and the islanders’ dances… I don’t know if that’s PC or not, but that’s ok I guess. :) THanks for making my day whenever I see your new posts!!
